The Kingston Peak/Yankee Hill trail can be broken up for a 2 hour venture or a 1/2 day excursion. This trail begins near Alice and St Mary's Glacier with easy terrain and eventually narrows and becomes more rocky. The Kingston Peak portion of the trail directs you north through Miners Gulch and bends around over Kingston Peak and eventually takes you towards St. Mary's Alice (a year round Glacier) with great views of Lock Lomond, an alpine lake. The other portion of the trail takes you to Yankee Hill which is a more direct route to Alice but slightly more difficult and not as long.
