Impressive views of alpine tundra and Continental Divide. A short enjoyable trip. Great hiking trail along the continental divide. This is our most accessible and popular trail. Half Day.
Jones Pass is a wide maintained road. The pass can be blocked by snow into summer. Round trip to top is 7 miles, but you can add another 6 miles for the west side of the pass. If you like to hike, you can park your ATV at the top and walk along the continental divide trail.
There is more hiking at the bottom of the west side where closed roads lead you into wilderness.
